What promotion does
- Promotion improves an Epigraph’s bonuses and Might. The supplied notes describe purple and gold promotion using matching copies. Check the promotion screen for the exact quantity and requirements at your current star level.
- A different family or faction is not interchangeable with the required matching Epigraph. Keep the copies your intended upgrade needs.
Promote step by step
- Open the Epigraph you intend to keep and inspect its promotion preview. Compare its current bonus with the next bonus.
- Check which matching copies are required and whether any copy is needed by another plan. Confirm only after checking the cost and outcome.
- Return to your plan and verify the improved Epigraph is equipped and assigned to the intended squad.
Keep or consume?
- Two identical purple Epigraphs create a trade-off: use the extra copy for promotion, or consume an eligible copy for Evolution EXP. For an Epigraph that strengthens your main squad, keeping it for promotion is often the better long-term choice.
- For a piece with no practical use in your current or planned squads, Evolution may offer more value. Do not automatically call every duplicate unwanted.
- Equipping, promotion and Evolution consumption compete for some of the same resources. Decide which outcome you want before touching Quick Add.
Promotion limits still need confirmation
- Maximum UR promotion stars are not yet confirmed in this guide. Check your current promotion screen before planning a maximum upgrade.
