Your first hero
Celia is the Mayor’s daughter, who steps up to help when the plague strikes. After losing her father early in the struggle against the blight, she swears to protect the town and its people.
Celia is an SSR Warrior. You start with her before you have a full roster to choose from, so she is a natural starting point for your early squad. Build around the useful heroes you actually have rather than waiting for a perfect lineup.
Growing Celia
- Keep her developed while she is part of your active first squad. Concentrate your early resources on that squad instead of spreading them across every hero.
- Check her in-game skill descriptions and upgrade requirements before spending. Compare what an upgrade improves with what your squad needs.
- Review her equipment as you obtain better Hero Gear. Prioritize your active squad before equipping heroes you do not use.
- Reassess her place when you recruit stronger heroes. Compare their development and contribution, not just their rarity.
Celia in squad 1
As a Warrior, Celia can help you work toward a Warrior-focused squad. Early on, however, use your stronger, higher-tier heroes even if the lineup mixes Warriors, Rangers and Warlocks. Do not keep a weaker hero in the team only to obtain a faction bonus.
Tip: Build a strong squad 1 first. Develop squads 2, 3 and 4 later, when you have more heroes and resources.
Eventually: a Warrior team
The long-term goal is a strong squad of one faction. Warriors are the easiest to grow: UR Warriors such as Arthur and Marlena can become your anchor heroes, with SSR Warriors such as Lucius and Celia helping fill out the lineup. Aim for two tanks, two carriers (damage dealers) and one support, checking each hero’s role as you assemble the team.
