Audit your equipment
- Open each main-squad hero's equipment screen. Check for empty slots, low-level pieces and equipment that does not suit the hero's role.
- Compare the stats and effects on the gear you own. Higher rarity is useful only in the context of the piece's actual stats, upgrade level and your available materials.
Match gear to the hero
- Use the game's stat descriptions to identify pieces that improve a damage dealer's output or a frontline hero's survival.
- Review battle reports after swapping equipment. A higher displayed power number alone does not tell you whether the team performs better.
Upgrade in a useful order
- Prioritize pieces on your main squad and address the weakness that is stopping your progress.
- Check the next upgrade's cost before confirming. Avoid scattering scarce materials across equipment you expect to replace soon.
- When you replace a piece, check whether it can be reassigned to a second squad. Read the game's transfer or dismantling rules before assuming invested materials can be recovered.
