- The Chief of Affairs example shows these two speed bonuses. Check your own position screen before starting your tasks.

Important: start while you hold the position
- When your appointment begins, confirm that you hold the position. Then start the construction, research or troop training that matches its bonus.
- Tasks already underway before your appointment do not receive the minister bonus.
Construction example
If you are appointed Chief of Affairs, wait until you hold the position before starting your building upgrade. An upgrade already underway will not gain the bonus.
