Start with availability
- Check the requirements for another squad slot in your current game. Do not spend toward a fourth team before you can use it.
- Decide whether this squad needs to fight or simply fill an available role in your daily activities. Those goals need different amounts of investment.
Create a reserve team
- Build from the heroes left after your main teams are assigned. Keep your best-developed combinations intact.
- Use spare equipment first and avoid taking important gear from your strongest squad just to increase the fourth squad's displayed power.
Review before spending
- Test this squad against its intended task. If it cannot complete it, compare the cost of fixing the team with the benefit of using it.
- Keep rare materials focused on the teams that deliver the most value. A fourth squad can remain lightly developed until you have a reason to change that.
